How long does the process take from start to finish?
This depends on the square footage of your facility, application technique we recommend, and any additional coatings. For example, if you need an epoxy system, we must first prepare the floors with diamond grinding or shot blasting. The epoxy itself can take six to eight hours to cure. We can give an accurate estimate once you request a quote.
Will I have to shut down my facility?
Again, this depends on the system chosen to revamp your floors. In some cases, we might be able to complete the project in a few hours, causing minimal disruption to your daily operations. We will provide you with an estimated amount of time shutdown so that you can plan accordingly.
What if I choose not to seal my concrete?
Forgoing a sealant may save you time in the short term but unsealed concrete speeds up the deterioration of the surface. The concrete will soak up moisture and contaminants, causing the surface to breakdown, while the steel rebar beneath will rust and cause the concrete to pop. This damages the concrete and cracks will form.
Will the urethane or epoxy leave a smell?
We use low-VOC products whenever possible. While some urethane systems may emit an odour during drying, there is no detectable scent once the project is complete.
Can my floor match my logo and brand?
Yes, absolutely. We can integrate your brand in your flooring through solid epoxy, flake, or quartz systems with a variety of colours for custom floors.
Do you offer a warranty on industrial services?
Yes! Warranty is entirely dependent on the system chosen, application, quality of concrete, and traffic. During the quoting period we can specify with each proposed system what the warranty period would be.
